Back in the C.S.I.

I've been back for a week and I would have to say the transition to Moscow has gotten off to a great start. One of the missionaries, whose apartment we are subletting, was at the apartment to show us around the house and make sure that we knew where everything was. Then Adam, Heather and the boys all came over and brought us lunch, and groceries to sustain us until we could figure out where the local grocery stores were. After a full day of struggling to stay awake after a sleepless 10 hour flight, a missionary friend who lives downstairs from us fixed us dinner. So, we spent the reminder of the day eating dinner, chatting about missing Krasnodar and dreading the winters of Moscow. Currently, all things are unpacked and I've pretty much got everything the way I want it, with a few accept ions, but organization is an ongoing process. As for my family, they are doing well. Like so many others, they were bogged down in traffic. They ended up turning back around and staying in El Campo when they heard that the storm took a turn to the north. Thank you so much for your prayers and concerns. Praise the Lord that the transition has gone well so far and keep praying that I will be able to form relationships here for both fellowship and ministry, and for understanding of new tasks and rolls that I will be taking on over the next few weeks.
