First Things First
I've been pretty busy getting oriented to working in Moscow the last few weeks. Dan, Adam and I spent a lot of time in the cubical tightening screws, driving in nails and putting our new office together. It was a great feeling when we were all sitting in our brand new office having our first meeting together. It was memorable not only to see the office finally come together, but also because 5 years of preparation had officially finished and we were beginning a new chapter in our ministry, and, in our lives. It was a moment that we all relished together. Now I am trying to find a place to serve here in Moscow Bible Church as a part of our local church ministry. Though the majority of our ministry is training pastors all over Russia we need to have a local ministry to be both relevant to the pastors that we serve and to keep from getting dry spiritually from merely teaching bible and theology from the proverbial ivory tower. Lately I've been getting a feel for what is going on at the Church but I have a feeling that pretty soon I will be diving into the ministry here at MBC. Be praying as I interview pastors and church leaders here, that God would guide me to serve in Moscow Bible where He would want me to serve. Also, be praying for a Pastors conference that is coming up in two weeks. Pray that I would be able to connect with the pastors and that the Lord would give me a vision for our national ministry.
