Greetings from panet Hoth
Its no news to say its cold in Moscow, thats what youd expect. But frigid air from Siberia blew in Monday night and the temperature plummeted from 25 F degrees to -25 F! Even for here, thats cold! I cant imagine living in Siberia where such temperatures are par for the course. Im living through it though, and very glad Ive discovered a bus route that can get me from my house to the office. Despite the cold temperatures Adam, Dan, and I have been pretty busy lately. As we are finding our stride with our local ministries we are preparing to go on our first trip related to pastor training. Next Thursday we will traveling to Penza, an industrial town about a twelve hour train ride almost due east of Moscow. We will be meeting with our partner in the Baptist Church, Alexei Mishen, and his team to make our plan for the coming year as far as pastor training is concerned. Please be praying for safety on the trip, especially since it is so cold. Also pray that God would give us and our Russian counterparts wisdom as we get together to plan the year.
