Bill's Visit

The trip to Moscow last week was great. Dan and I took a long train ride from Krasnodar to Moscow. It was relaxing, but I’ll take the 2 hour plane to being cooped up for 28 hours on the train. At least it wasn’t the Trans-Siberian I think that one can take up to a week! As I mentioned, we were joined by two of our office staff and Bill Havens, a team member who is planning on coming to Russia sometime this summer. It was great to be together as a team, especially since our closest team members are over 700 miles away. Bill came back to Krasnodar with Dan and me in order to check things out here and see if he would be able to bring his family here for language training. That kept me pretty busy this week, but I had a great time showing Bill around. Pray that the Lord would give him wisdom as he prepares to move his family to Russia. Also, pray that our team would be unified on our team, despite the distance.

Prayer Requests

10.06.2009 Georgians: Pray for a Georgian family that is in fear of being deported. Pray that God would give them peace dispite there circumstances and pray that they would grow closer to God through this.

10.06.2009 Boldly share: That we would walk closely with Him each day and openly sharing Him with others in this culture

10.06.2009 Mentors: That God would send each of us a mentor to meet with regularly.

10.06.2009 Language Aquisition: That Liz would become conversational in German quickly and that we both might strive for excellence as in this area of our ministry.

09.07.2009 Visas Process: Pray that we would be able to get all of the paperwork for our visas and that we would be wise in getting things set up to stay here.

09.07.2009 Best over the good: Pray that the Lord would guide our team as it continues to form. Especially pray for wisdom as we chose the best over the good.

09.07.2009 Afghan Friend: Pray for a Christian Afghan refugee who is in eminent danger of being deported back to Afghanistan
