Social Projects
Part of the commitment I have to the language to the language school is providing a social service for the community of Krasnodar every other week. This is a great opportunity me, not only to practice my language, but also to have an outlet for ministry, as the Lord Provides. I volunteer at an elementary school as an English teaching assistant. I talk to the kids in English and sometimes, for fun, they have me talk in Russian. So far, Ive gotten to know the teacher fairly well. In fact, she invited me over to her house this weekend to meet her family and celebrate Russian Labor Day, which is a pretty big celebration since here it also considered the first day of summer. Please pray that the Lord would continue to bless my relationship with both the students and the teacher and pray for opportunities to tell them about Gods love.
